I am a producer.

I am a breath coach.

HELLO EVERYONE!

My name’s Hannah and I am a creative producer and breath coach. My mission is to make great art happen, and to empower people to achieve their goals while maintaining their optimum health.

I’m really excited to use my unique mix of skills to help people lead healthier and more balanced lifestyles.

I landed my first paid producing gig at 20 years old working on a family puppet show about a depressed fish. I knew straight away this was what I wanted to do: to produce brilliant, creative shows with a team I cared about.

After many years of hard work, and dozens of ridiculous side gigs, I was working with world renowned organisations like the BFI and the National Theatre. It was everything I had driven myself to achieve.

But the more successful I became, the more my health suffered. Until eventually I burnt out. After producing a citywide arts festival, I spent a week in bed recovering. Something had to change. I could no longer accept the damage to my physical and mental health as the fallout from my job.

I stopped everything and took four months off to focus on my health and my life goals. That was when I began to study wellness and breath work.

Since early in my career, I’d practiced yoga and meditation, but I squeezed wellness in between gigs. During my time off, I began to see that wellness isn’t an escape; it’s a lifestyle. It can be integrated into everything I do and help me keep doing the thing I love.

I knew so many other people were suffering from burn out just like I had been, and I wanted to offer them a way to keep doing the thing they loved, too.

So I created a unique range of offerings to serve my community. Whether you’re looking for a creative or engagement producer for your arts project, or breath work to support your lifestyle, or both! You can find out more about how I can help on my offerings page.

“Hannah creates a relaxed and easy going space, where you feel entirely safe sharing your lived experiences and how and why you've arrived where you are; she works with you completely in the present and the positive affects that come from time with her teaching are magic.”

Laura, Artistic Director

Hannah Nicholls produced the tour of Shall We Take This outside which took in ten venues, a festival, three schools and two pupil referral units, with four artists and a technician. As well as being an excellent producer with an infectious passion for arts engagement, she is a joy to work with, a  calming presence at rehearsals and shows and a tireless supporter of the artists. I look forward to working with Hannah in the future on bigger and even more ambitious projects.
